724,338. Spray carburetters. KOLBERG, T. April 20, 1953, No. 10853/53. Class 7 (3). A hollow float 2b is made of a thermosetting or thermoplastic plastic, e.g. a polyamide, which is chemically resistant to commercial or racing liquid fuels, and has a depth of immersion i of only several millimetres so that the float is functionally independent of the variation in specific gravity of the fuel. The float may be made in two parts stiffened by ribs and welded together to form, for example, a drum-type float or a ring- shaped float. As shown the float is pivoted on a pin 3 inside a chamber 1 and controls a fuel inlet valve 4.
