Abstract
720,633. Clocks and watches. ETA SOC. ANON. FABRIQUE D'EBAUCHES. Aug. 18, 1952, [Aug. 23, 1951,] No. 20757/52. Class 139. A time-piece movement comprises a fourth wheel spindle in the centre of the movement, a cannon pinion surrounding said fourth wheel spindle, a centre wheel on said cannon pinion but not in the train between the barrel and the escape wheel. The barrel 4, Fig. 1, drives the train comprising the second wheel pinion 3, the second wheel 5, the third wheel pinion 6, the third wheel 7, the fourth wheel pinion 8 and the fourth wheel 9. The spindle of the fourth wheel 9 is in the centre of the movement and passes through a pipe 10 fixed to the plate 1. The third wheel pinion 6 drives a centre wheel 14 frictionally mounted on the cannon 11 of the cannon pinion 15 which drives the minute wheel 13, the pinion of which drives the hour wheel 12 free on the cannon 11. In another example, Fig. 3 (not shown), the wheel 14 is located at a level between the minute wheel 13 and the hour wheel 12. In another example, Fig. 4, the wheel 14 is fixed on the cannon 11 and is driven by a pinion 16 frictionally mounted on the third wheel spindle.
