[Also in Group XXV] In a scaffold clamp comprising a clamp formed of two half clamps 1f, 1c connected at one end by a hinge pin 6 and at the other end by a wedge driven through two wedge holes 5 in the half clamp 1c and one in the half.clamp 1f, the wedge 8 has a stop 9 adapted to engage a plate 10 on one of the wedge holes 5 to prevent the wedge being lost. The scaffold clamp comprises two half clamps at right angles and back to back each formed of two straps 1a, 1b, these four parts being we'ded to each other at the points of contact 4. The clamping straps 1e, 1f are between the straps to, 1b, of the complementary half clamp. In a modification the clamp is formed of circular section rod.
