Abstract

547,570. Scaffold clamps. MARSHALL, A. C. March 13, 1941, No. 3452. [Class 20 (ii)] A scaffold clamp of the type comprising a main body portion 1 with grooves disposed at angles to each other, and a clamping member 5 associated with each groove for the scaffold members 2, has a projection 11 on each side of the body apertured to receive loosely a curved hooked projection 10 on one end of a clamping member, the other end of which carries a bolt 8 adapted to engage a slot in a projection 9 on the body. The projection 11 on the body member is received between lateral projections 13 on the clamping member and this projection acts as a support for the clamping member when in open position. The body member may be made in two relatively rotatable portions so that the angle between the axes of the scaffold members may be adjustable.
