A scaffold clamp for connecting two tubes comprises a central member 1, to opposite sides of which the tubes are clamped by arcuate . caps 6, and the clamping surfaces are formed with recesses or holes 17, 18 to accommodate projections 16, 16' on the tubes. The central member 1 may comprise two relatively rotatable parts which may . be secured angularly with respect to each other.
