A clamp for coupling two aligned tubes comprises a pair of hinged jaws 11, 12 with securing bolts 14, 15 each with an inwardly extending rib 24 which contacts the end of one tube to maintain the clamp in position on the tube with bolts 14, 15 slackened while the other tube is being assembled in alignment.
