Abstract

1,079,875. Scaffolding. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd. March 14, 1966 [April 12, 1965], No. 15512/65. Heading E1S. A transom for supporting scaffold planks comprises a tube or tubes 1 having at one end a channel 2 engaging a ledger 4' on the outside of the scaffolding and at the other end an angle member 3 providing a top flange to engage an inside ledger. In a modification the angle member 3 may be replaced by an inverted channel on the outside of which tubes extending the tubes 1 may be welded. The tubes may be welded to the top of the channel and angle member.
