Abstract

716,310. Tents. LIDEN. O. G. A. Nov. 27, 1952 [Nov. 28, 1951], No. 30130/52. Class 20 (1) A tent comprises a collapsable framework, Fig. 2, and a one-piece tent cloth 8, Fig. I, which has three flaps forming a releasable closure means for the entrance opening to the tent, two flaps 11 extending upwardly from the base of the tent and a third 12 extending downwardly from the top of the tent, the upper portions of the flaps 11 diverging to form a triangular shaped aperture which the flap 12 is adapted to close. The frame is formed in two halves each comprising legs 1 and horizontal upper members 3 and 4 connected by connecting e'ements 2, the legs 1 and the member 3 being rigidly secured and the members 4 pivotally secured to the elements 2. The two halves of the frame are connected together by engaging the members 4 in sockets 5. A detachable ridge-piece 10 is supported on the members 4. The flaps 11 and 12 may be secured from inside the tent by wires or ropes which pass through eyes attached to the tent cloth.
