[Class 20 (i)] A collapsable shelter, hanger, tent or the like comprises a number of arches, each formed of two preformed elements 1, 2 joined together at the open by a hinge 3 the axis of which lies at right angles to the plane of the arch, and hinged at their lower ends to side supports 4, 5 so that the arches may be collapsed together laterally similar to a pram hood and then further folded together about the axis of the apex pivots as shown in Fig. 4. The arches are maintained in their respective supporting position by cables.
