976,912. Collapsible ridge tents. P. CONSTANT. Aug. 27, 1962, No. 32805/62. Heading E1A. In a tent framework consisting of metal tubes or rods and wherein the upper frame unit is made up of a central ridge pole 2, side beams 1, 3 and rafters 4, 5 supported by poles 14, the members 1 - - 5 are interconnected by coupling and hinge means such as 8, 9, 10, 12 to permit the upper frame to be folded up concertina wise, see also Fig. 1 (not shown). The members 1, 2 and 3 are made up of telescopic parts and the poles 14 incorporate extensions secured thereto by flexible links or hinge means.
