691,531. Tents. shelters and the like. ADAM & LANE & NEEVE, Ltd., and LLOYD, I. D. Nov. 22, 1950 [Nov. 22, 1949], No. 29893/49. Class 20(i) A collapsable frame for a tent or the like comprises three or more frame members 8, 9, 10 held spaced at the top by a collapsable strut comprising links 1, 2 pivoted respectively to the end frames and pivotally connected together by means of flat strips 11, 12, which are pivoted and fixed respectively to the links. 1, 2, the strip 12 having ,a bracket 15 forming a seating for strip 11 when the strut is extended and co-incident holes being provided in the strips and in a depending lug on an intermediate frame member through which a pin may be passed to lock the strut. Collapsable members 20, 21 secured to frame members 3 lock so as to hold the frame members apart when the strut 1, 2 is extended.
