Abstract

595,507. Collapsable cots. EATON, W. H. April 19, 1945, No. 9847. [Class 52(ii)] A child's collapsable cot comprises rigid end frames 9 joined at each side by upper and lower side bars 5 hinged at 2 to lugs 8a, 8b on the, side frames 9 and having double hinges 4 at their centre, so that the end frames 9 may be moved together to fold the cot. Sleeves 3 are slid over the several hinges to lock them, the sleeves being secured in this position by bayonet pin and slot connections 6, 7. Detachable legs 9a are provided. The upper lugs 8a lie within, and the lower lugs 8b, without the side posts of the end frames 9 so that the upper and lower bars shall not interfere in folding.
