Abstract

164,886. Allen, S. F. March 26, 1920. Folding cots.-A folding cot comprises side members 6, 7, 8, 9 hinged to the corner posts and to each other so as to fold inwards, and bottom members 3, 4 hinged to the ends and to a cross-piece 5 so as to fold downwards. The side members carry threaded studs 10 which are passed through holes 11 in the cross-piece 5 and locked by nuts to secure the cot in the erected position. One or both pairs of side members may be hinged together by detachable joints.
