Folding bedsteads.- A folding stretcher which may be used as a bed comprises side bars a to which the canvas is attached, and which are supported, when the apparatus is used as a bed, by folding legs b stayed by cross-stays e detachable at e', and by engagement with the stretcher rests c, which act as stops. When folded, the legs are held against the side bars by engagement of slots on the stays with studs on the side bars.
