Class 59 A mill comprises a rotary grooved or plain ring 1 within which are disposed one or more grooved or plain rollers 7 freely rotatably mounted on eccentrically fixed axes 8 which are supported by arms 3 integral with the axis 5 of the ring 1. Scrapers 10, 12, 13 are provided. When the mill is used for triturating, the ring is provided with orifices but when the mill is used for pulverizing, the peripheral surface of the ring is closed and the pulverized material removed by suction means.
