Abstract
699,001. Roller mills. MIAG MUHLENBAU UND INDUSTRIE GES. Jan. 30, 1952 [Feb. 2, 1951], No. 2504/52. Class 59 In a roller mill having replaceable upper and lower rollers 2 and in which the lower roller is adjustable relatively to the upper roller, the adjusting means 9, 10, 11 are located at the side of the mill housing opposite to that at which the rollers are removed. The roller shafts 3 are rotatable in bearings 4 which rest in housings 5 and 6, the housing 6 being connected at 8 to the adjusting means which comprise a tension rod and spring means 9 pivoted eccentrically at 10 to a shaft 11. The bearings or bearing housings may be split to facilitate the removal of the rollers. The invention may be applied to a tworoller mill.
