714,767. Electric water heaters. WARD, T. A. B. July 16, 1952 [July 16, 1951], No. 16842/51. Class 39 (3) A water heater fitting, for external attachment to a bulk water container 15, comprises a tank 10 having an electric heater 16 and upper and lower water outlet and inlet stub tubes 19, 18 co-operating with ports in the container 15, a band 21 being provided for securing the tank 10 to the container 15. A thermostat is fitted in the tank 10. The band 21 is clamped to the container 15, at 24, and may encircle both the tank 10 and container 15, or the container 15 only, being in this case bolted to lugs on the tank 10. The wall 13 of the tank 10 adjacent the container 15 is shaped to fit closely thereto.
