545,597. Electric water heaters. WORCESTER WINDSHIELDS & CASEMENTS, Ltd., SOUTHALL, H., and HILL, C. L. March 17, 1941, No. 3612. [Class 39 (iii)] An electric heater is provided with a plate 2 closing the bottom of the water container 1 and carrying the water inlet and outlet pipes. A heating element 6 of the form described in Specification 545,596 is carried by a base plate 7 attached by screws 8, and is withdrawable through the aperture 5. The plate 7 is provided with a drain passage 11 closed by a plug 12 which also retains a cover 13 which prevents access to the screws 8 until the water vessel 1 has been drained by removal of the plug 12. The mounting is applicable to other types of bulk water heaters.
