711,530. Copying-telegraphy. EASTMAN KODAK CO. July 17, 1951 [July 18, 1950], No. 7701/53. Divided out of 711,497. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (3) The subject-matter is entirely included in the Specification 711,497 but the claims relate to an electromagnetic translating device, particularly for facsimile telegraphy, in which magnetic flux is divided between two aligned air gaps provided by spaced pole-piece members, a stationary core extends through one of the air gaps and towards the other air gap, an armature having a free end extending through the secured gap to close proximity to the core and is pivoted remote from said free end and outside the second air gap and actuating means is disposed between said pole-piece members and surrounding said stationary core for moving the armature. The opposite end of the armature is connected to one arm of a bell-crank of which the other end is formed as an operating member for recording the signals.
