Class 4 In a bogie-type under carriage the bogie consist! of a pair of articulatec links 22, 23 connected at their inner ends 5 to the lower end of the leg 2 their outer ends being interconnected by a ten sion shock-absorber 26 The rear wheels are biased downwardly wher the undercarriage is ir the lowered position by a subsidiary shock-absorbe 16 connected between the leg 2 and a lug 28 at the rear end of the bogie.
