1,104,069. Aircraft undercarriages. Y. A. LIVSHITS, V. V. MAZNIN, and V. K. REZAJKIN. 17 Aug., 1965, No. 35161/65. Heading B7G. An aircraft undercarriage has a telescopic leg 5 the upper and lower parts of which are connected by a scissors link 8, 9. and a drag strut 15 is connected to the hinge 11 between the parts of the scissors link so that fore-and-aft shocks on the undercarriage are absorbed by the telescopic leg which is pivotally mounted on the aircraft about a transverse axis 6. The drag strut is formed by an hydraulic jack for retracting the undercarriage. When the leg 5 is compressed, the strut 15, the lower link 9 and the hinge 16 are in line.
