706,464. Turbines. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERIE, & CIE. Aug. 1, 1952 [Aug. 4, 1951], No. 19555/52. Addition to 673,607, [Group XXII]. Class 110 (3). [Also in Group XXII] Axially assembled discs 2, 3 for turbine rotors welded together according to the method of the parent Specification have the tubular rings 6, Fig. 1, backing the weld grooves, disposed radially inwardly of the base of the blade grooves 9, 10. The space 12 above the weld groove may be covered in with a welded annular member 13. In a modification the welded seam 1, Fig. 2, is placed in the base of a blade groove 14.
