Abstract

[Also in Division F1] A gas turbine bladed rotor comprises a rotor disc 25<SP>1</SP> to which a peripheral ring 26<SP>1</SP> is welded which has a plurality of recesses each having a collar 21 for surrounding the root of the associated blade 24 to which the ring 26<SP>1</SP> is brazed. The blades 24 may be hollow and grooves in the ring and the rotor are aligned to form an annulus 29 coaxial with the rotor axis and is supplied with cooling air via holes 27<SP>1</SP>, 30, 31 in the rotor disc 25<SP>1</SP> to enter the hollow rotor blades. The ring 26<SP>1</SP> may consist of assembled segments.
