Class 12(1) A resilient hanger for motor vehicle propeller shafts &c. comprises a bracket 14 bolted to the supporting structure 10, resilient split rubber bushes 32 carried on the ends of a rod 22, a shaft bearing housing 40 having studs 42, 44, carrying similar bushes, and spring steel depending arms 28, 30 clamped at their ends around the bushes. In a modification the upper bushes are each formed by pairs of annular discs and are clamped to a joggled bracket and cranked arms. Specification 586,319 is referred to.
