Abstract

677,823. Mounting electric motors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and JACOBY, H. C. E. Oct. 27, 1950 [Dec. 29, 1949], No. 33254/49. Class 35. A supporting arrangement for a motor driving a spinning bowl &c. comprises a base 2 having three cylindrical parts 5 spaced 120 degrees apart and parallel to the motor axis, each part 5 has two central metal annuli 7 bonded to two bushes 9 of resilient material and two outer metal annuli 10 also bonded to the two bushes 9 at the outer ends of the latter. A fixing bolt 11 passes through the four annuli 7, 10, bushes 9 and the corresponding lug 14 projecting from the motor casing 15. Each of the cylindrical parts 5 is integrally cast with its respective supporting bracket 4. The outer metal annuli 10 have their separating distance limited by two flanges 12 provided on the fixing bolt 11. Specifications 369,642, 614,348 and 642,494 are referred to.
