Abstract
788,832. Hinges and pivots. COMPAGNIE ELECTRO MECANIQUE. Feb. 13, 1956 [May 26, 1955], No. 4394/56. Class 65(2) [Also in Groups XXXII and XXXV] A pivotal mounting comprises a pair of ring like members 10, 11 spaced along the pivotal axis XX, each ring being connected by a pair of diametrically opposite resilient blades 13, 15 to a stationary member 17 and a movable member 16 to permit small angular oscillations of the member 16 about the axis XX. The outer ends of the blades 13, 15 are secured to rods 18 which are adjustable by nuts 19 relative to the members 16, 17. In an embodiment the stator of a brake dynamo is secured to the members 16 of a pair of pivotal mountings, the rotor shaft passing freely through the ring members 10, 11.
