[Also in Group XXXII] In a vehicle spring suspension (see Group XXXII) an axle 9, which may be driven or may be part of an independent wheel suspension, is suspended by radius arms 7 projecting forwardly and upwardly, and may project inwardly of the vehicle, into casings which compress rubber or the like blocks or bushes about the ends of the arms 7 to resiliently suspend the axle.
