Abstract

859,360. Road-vehicle undercarriages; laminated springs. CRANES (DEREHAM) Ltd. July 28, 1959, No. 25888/59. Classes 108(2) and 108(3). The ends of a laminated spring 12 are mounted in spherical resilient joints 13, each of which comprises a hard rubber spherical member 15 and soft rubber lining 18. Each spring carries a twin wheel axle 10 and is duplicated on the opposite side (not shown) of the vehicle. The axle 10 may be cranked as described in Specification 698,529. Specification 489,183 also is referred to.
