[Class 144 (i).] A resilient wheel, particularly for use on railway vehicles, comprises soft rubber or like elastic bodies c fitted in trough-shaped housings d in the wheel body b and rim a. To prevent lateral displacement, the wheel and rim are formed with interengaging radial projections e, f which may be faced with rubber &c. The exposed surfaces of the cushion bodies may be protected by means of fabric or lacquer.
