[Class 144 (i).] A resilient wheel for railway or other vehicles comprises a hub 1 and rim 2 separated by two separate cushioning-elements, one 4 arranged to absorb radial shocks only, and the other, 5, 6 axial shocks only. In the constructions shown, the cushions consist of rubber blocks or rings. To establish electrical connection between the rim and the hub, coil-springs 13, Fig. 3, may be fitted between the side-plates 9, 10 and the web of,the hub.
