Abstract

211,217. Kemp, E. Nov. 14, 1922. Spokes, securing and adjusting.-Pins 4, 5 connect tubular spokes 3 to the hub and felloe of a wheel respectively, the pins being adapted to allow limited radial movement between the spokes and the hub arid felloe. The spokes are cupped at their ends to form compartments 7 which receive annular resilient cushions 8 of rubber or the like. Discs 10 fit over the cushions 8 and are slidable in the compartments 7, extending slightly beyond the open ends of the compartments.
