Abstract

246,756. Erickson, A. C. Sept. 21, 1925. Spring wheels.-A disc member 13 carried upon a wheel hub is formed with a flange which has recesses upon its outer side to register with similar recesses in a look rim 23, the rim 23 being fastened to the flange by set-screws 29. Spokes 30 mounted in sleeves 27 pivoted on arms 28 in the recesses are hinged to the underside of the tyre-carrying rim and carry, upon opposite sides of the sleeves 27, compression springs 36, 37, tensioned against lock nuts 33, 38 respectively.
