Class 75 (4) An elongated lighting fixture comprising two end plates 3 has a light-controlling member, such as a louvre 5, 6 supported detachably between the end plates by a latch arrangement which has a latch lever 8 pivotally mounted on the light controlling member and a latch hook 7, normally locked in engagement with one of the end plates 3, pivotally mounted on the latch lever 8, the arrangement being such that during initial pivotal movement of the lever 8 the light controlling member is caused to move relatively to the said one of the end plates 3 into an unlocking position and with the light controlling member held in said unlocking position, subsequent pivotal movement of the lever 8 causes the latch hook 7 to move relatively to the end plate 3 into an unlocked position whereby the light controlling member can be detached from the fitting. As shown the lever 8 is pivoted for clockwise unlocking movement on a pin 11 on a central longitudinal member 5 of the louvre 5, 6 and the latch hook 7, which engages the lower edge of an aperture 9 in the end plate 3 is pivoted on a pin 10 to the lever 8. The latch hook 7 is arranged so that during the final pivotal unlocking movement of the lever 8 it bears against the end plate 3 which acts as a fulcrum to rotate the hook 7 out of engagement with the aperture 9. The louvre 5, 6 may have a latch arrangement at each end.
