Class 78 (1) The segmental gate 6, controlling the feed of material by rollers 2 to the grinding rollers shown, is regulated in accordance with the height of material in the hopper by corrugated iron sheets 14. Said sheets are pivotally carried on rod 16 carried by arms 13 secured to pivot about 10 together with arm 11, which latter bears against roller 8<SP>1</SP> carried by lever 7 so as to open and close gate 6 about pivot 17 against spring 9.
