Class 34(2) Apparatus for drying grass &c. comprises a rotatable drum A formed of endmembers B, C connected by radially disposed openwork members D which act as baffles and longitudin a 1 members E. the sides being covered with fine wire gauze F, air being blown into the drum through a hollow axle or through an air duct K passing through a centrally disposed opening in the end C and connected to a fan Q and air heating chamber R. In a modification two layers of wire gauze are provided, the outer being coarser.
