Abstract

701.927. Moulding confectionery. IDEAL WRAPPING MACHINE CO. April 11, 1951 [Aug. 31, 1950], No. 8394/51. Class 87 (2) [Also in Group VI] In apparatus in which candies are wrapped and pierced to form a recess in which a stick is placed, the candies are moulded from a batch of candy dough on a cutter disc 21. The disc 21 has knives 22 between which parts of the batch of dough may be kneaded by a plurality of kneaders 23 after the knives have been rotated within the guard 24. The formed candy is then severed from the batch and fed to a wrapping wheel 27.
