Class 29 In a compression refrigerating system in which liquid refrigerant is supplied from a liquid-cooled condenser 4 to an evaporator 12 through a restrictor tube 11, an adequate pressure difference is maintained across the restrictor tube with varying loads on the system by controlling the flow of cooling liquid to the condenser by a valve 14 actuated by a thermal control 15, 16 responsive to the superheat of the suction line 13.
