701,364. Magnetic compositions. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Sept. 11, 1952 [Sept. 12, 1951] No. 22858/52. Class 38 (2) A ferrite composition having high values ot initial permeability, Q, and resistivity, suitable for cores for h.f. coils, comprises 47-49 mol per cent iron oxide, 0.25-0.75 mol per cent vanadium oxide, 24-32 mol per cent zinc oxide, the balance being nickel oxide. Comparative values are given of various properties of a number of compositions containing different percentages of vanadium oxide, both inside and outside the scope of the invention.
