Abstract

700,127. Non-refillable bottles. HAlG & CO., Ltd. J. June 30, 1952 [July 23, 1951], No. 17351/51. Class 125 (1). A bottle closure as disclosed in Specifications 588,468 and 612,943 has a valve casing 2 and tubular nozzle 10 made of synthetic resin so that they can be cemented together, where an external flange 11 of the nozzle 10 rests on a ledge 5 formed inside an upstanding lip 4 of the valve casing, after the introduction of a disc valve 8 and weight 16. The disc valve 8 and, a projection 19 of the weight 16, formed by an annular groove 160, have plain contacting surfaces. The top of the nozzle 10 is formed with a screw thread 12 which is engaged by a socket 21 of the cap 22, a sealing disc 28 of material non-injurious to spirits being interposed so that no cork or rubber is in contact with the bottle contents.
