Class 137 In a ventilation louvre comprising over-. lapping S-shaped or double curvature plates curving into inner and outer limiting planes, each two adjacent plates produce a nozzle-shaped channel with a gap smaller at the outer limiting plane than at the inner. An air extraction screen comprises overlapping double curvature plates which form nozzle-like channels with an inlet 1 of larger cross-section than the outlet 2. The plates have curves 5, 6 on the inlet and outlet sides respectively, and wind flowing from directions a or b exercises a suction effect in the channel between adjacent plate edges 7, 8. Most of the current from direction c is diverted into directions a, b.
