Abstract

698,609. Endless scraper conveyers. COWLISHAW WALKER & CO., Ltd., and SEED, E. C. July 31, 1952. No. 19430/52. Addition to 677,301. Class 78 (i). The invention of the parent Specification is modified in that at least one upper framework section is provided with members spaced from the floor of the section and clear of the path of the endless scraper chains so as to overlie the chains and limit their upward movement away from the floor of the section. As shown, upper section 10 accommodating scrapers 16 secured to a pair of endless chains 17, have members 20 secured by bolts 21 to flanges 13 and overlying the chains. The bolts 21 are countersunk so as to leave the members 20 free to support a machine-carrying sledge.
