696,482. Compound sheet materials. LANKSHEAR, W. A. W. April 13, 1951. [April 14, 1950] No. 9258/50. Class 140. A building unit comprises two sheets a, c of metal such as aluminium or aluminium alloy stuck to an interposed layer b of cork board, the whole unit being curved about an axis. The aluminium sheets may be pickled, or degreased and sanded or scratched, before. coating with the adhesive which may be resinous. The edges may be sheathed, e.g. by a metal channel and the inner sheet may be indented. Roofs may be formed by joining units edge to edge, e.g. so that concave and convex undulations smoothly alternate.
