Class 110(iii) [Also in Groups XI and XXIX] In a gas turbine.liquid fuel supply system in which the rate of fuel flow to the burners is controlled by means responsive to the pressure difference across a restriction in the burner delivery line, the restriction comprises a plurality of small area passages arranged in parallel such that the flow rate is substantially directly proportional to the pressure difference. The restriction may be fabricated from corrugated strip material, from a plurality of rods or wires clamped together or by porous metal or other porous material. The pores of the metal or other material should be as large as possible provided.that the Reynolds number is such that it gives a substantially linear relationship between the flow and pressure difference.
