768,969. Jet-propulsion plant. SOLAR AIRCRAFT CO. April 1, 1955, No. 9577/55. Class 110 (3). [Also in Group XII] A gas turbine jet-propulsion unit is provided with five fuel distributers 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, which are arranged, as shown, and connected to a pump 42 adapted to supply fuel to the distributers 31-34 or the distributers 32-35 according to the setting of the valve 58. The distributer 32 may be arranged within the stator see Fig. 4 (not shown). Fuel vaporizers or spray-type fuel injectors may be employed. The number of openings in the fuel distributers progressively increases, as shown, whereby fuel is added at a rate proportional to the heat of vaporization in the preceding zone of combustion.
