Class 38 (v) [Also in Groups XXIV and XXIX] A centrifugal switch, for making a circuit to provide automatic declutching on a vehicle at low engine speeds, comprises a rotating housing 124 mounted on the engine fan-pulley, and carrying a pivoted mass 135 pressed inwardly by a spring 134, in opposition to centrifugal force, to close contacts 133 in opposition to a blade-spring 132.
