689,845. High-frequency attenuators. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Feb. 12, 1951 [June 1, 1950], No. 13769/50. Class 40 (viii). An impedance device, for use at high frequencies, consists of two conductors 1 and 2, one within the other, and the space between them is filled partly by solid dielectric 3 and partly by liquid dielectric 4, the latter alone being in con. tact with the inner conductor. The liquid dielectric may be water. The inner conductor as shown may be a strip formed of metal alloy of high resistivity.
