Abstract

The invention comprises disazo dyestuffs obtained by coupling (acid) one mol. of a diazotized arylamine (benzene or naphthalene) mono-sulphonic acid with one mol. of resorcinol, and then coupling (alkaline) the product with one N- (o- or p-aminophenyl)-morpholine. The products dye leather in brown shades. Examples are given where the first component is sulphanilic acid, naphthionic acid and 3-amino-6-hydroxy-5-sulphobenzoic acid.
