Abstract

687,000. Reservoir pans. BIROME SOC. ANON. COMMERCIAL E. INDUSTRIAL. Jan. 19, 1950. No. 1439/50. Class 146 (iii). A reservoir pen comprises a tubular holder a having a tapered end 1 with an aperture 2 for the passage of writing elements b and b<SP>1</SP>, while the opposite end has an aperture 4 for the insertion of a removable unit comprising a chassis d supporting a pair of slides e and e<SP>1</SP> for holding the writing elements. The slides e and e<SP>1</SP> are longitudinally split tubes which hold the writing elements resiliently over a substantial portion of their length and permit the elements being readily removed and inserted. Selection of a writing element for use is effected by a knob 5 of a selector device which operates in the manner described in Specification 687,004.
