Abstract

686,056. Indicating-apparatus. LANDIS & GYR AKT.-GES. Dec. 21, 1950 [Dec. 27, 1949], No. 31145/60. Class 106 (iv). [Also in Group XXXVI] The diametrically-magnetized disc 5, Fig. 1, fast with a spindle 10 is suspended for rotation within a cylindrical stator core 4 by torsion strips 6, 7 secured respectively to curved leafsprings 11, 12 fixed to the instrument casing 1. The inner ends of the torsion strips 6, 7 are secured to bearing-pins 8, 9 which pass with small clearance through apertures 21, 22 in frame plates 23, 24 and in close proximity to the latter are the annular surfaces of the spindle 10. The D.C. to be measured passes through seriesconnected operating coils 15, 16, Fig. 2, to magnetize the stator core 4 and produce rotation of the permanent magnet disc 5 and deflection of a pointer 13 around a scale 14.
