Abstract

683,697. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION, Ltd., and HEFTMAN, T. S. Jan. 3, 1951 [Oct. 3, 1919], No. 25416/49. Class 40 (vi). An inductor 11 is connected at one end to an electrode of a valve 13, other than the cathode, the other end being connected through a tuning capacitor 12 to the cathode. The inter - electrode capacitance 15 and lead inductance 14 are effectively in series with the main inductor and capacitor of the tuned circuit, while the circuit is coupled by mutual inductance to a preceding or succeeding circuit 11<SP>1</SP>. The arrangement may be applied to a choke fed anode circuit, Fig. 4 (not shown), and the two types may be used in cascade.
